Public Company Directors and Officers Insurance (D&O 2/2000) provides public companies and their management with broad coverage for securities claims and also provides management with coverage for employment practices claims.  Coverage encompasses the many individuals likely to be sued including company executives, independent directors, general counsels and risk managers. A unique provision helps to protect an individual’s rights to the policy proceeds when the parent company or its subsidiary is liquidating or bankrupt. Coverage can be enhanced with locally-admitted policies for claims arising overseas via AIG PassportSM.
