Rose Marie Glazer
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Rose Marie E. Glazer is Executive Vice President and AIG’s General Counsel. In this role she oversees AIG’s legal, compliance, regulatory and government affairs as well as the Global Security and the Sustainability Office teams.
Ms. Glazer joined AIG in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Counsel and led the board and corporate governance, securities disclosure, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and administrative services legal teams as well as the Sustainability Office.
From January 2022 until November 2023, and on an interim basis through May 2024, she served as AIG’s Chief Human Resources & Diversity Officer responsible for all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and diversity, equity and inclusion as well as AIG’s corporate citizenship endeavors.
Ms. Glazer’s 30-year career encompasses experience at global companies across a broad array of industries. Before joining AIG, she served in multiple leadership roles in the legal affairs team at Siemens AG, including as Senior Vice President and General Counsel – Americas from 2011 to 2017. Prior to her 14-year career at Siemens, she was Vice President and General Counsel at Telvista and held in-house counsel positions at Allied Riser Communications and American Airlines. She began her legal career as an attorney with the law firm Jones Day in Dallas.
Ms. Glazer is a member of the board of directors of Corebridge Financial (NYSE: CRBG).
She is National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship Certified, and is a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association and the 2022 class of the Partnership for New York City’s David Rockefeller Fellows.
Rose Marie earned her law degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas. She also has a BBA in Accounting and a BA in Spanish, both summa cum laude, from Southern Methodist University. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
